Carpenters Local 283 would like to thank Georgia Representative Gloria Frazier for inviting us to the Town Hall Meeting! Representing the SECTT is Shon Douglas and Adam Bledsoe. Representing the SECRC is Brett Hulme and Dan Morris.
Mentoring A Girl In Construction
(M.A.G.I.C)

M.A.G.I.C. is a free, one week, day camp designed to introduce high school girls to exciting careers in construction. The program also introduces high school girls to women role models who have achieved success in construction. Two of the women role models that were introduced to the high school girls were Victoria Doyle and __________. Victoria is a 3rd year apprentice and member of Local 283. The girls were all given pink hardhats and tool belts. We appreciate everyone involved with this program and look forward to the next one!
